The Panthers, the predecessor to Badfinger, were formed in 1961. Later, they changed their name to The Iveys and were recognized by Mal Evans while they were active. In November 1968, they released their debut single "Maybe Tomorrow" on Apple Records. However, although this song reached number 15 on the Dutch hit charts the following year in 1969, it missed the UK singles chart and only reached number 67 in the US. Their first album "Maybe Tomorrow" in 1969 was only released in Italy, West Germany, and Japan, and sales were poor. The reason why the album was not released in the US and UK was because Alan Klein, who had just become the new president of Apple at the time, postponed the release of all non-Beatles albums until he had completed an investigation into the company's financial situation. As a result, the album was not released outside of the three countries mentioned above, and became a collector's item until it was reissued in the 1990s.
In 1969, when the Ivies tried to make a new start, they were renamed "Badfinger" to avoid confusion with The Ivy League. 'From WIKIPEDIA
① is, '-Omitted- Although the overly decorative arrangements by Tony Visconti seem to spoil the original appeal of the songs, this is an album that fans will want to have on hand as it is an experience of the fun of 60's pop. -Omitted-

② is a collection of unreleased recordings, including songs by The Iveys, that were included on four CDs, [94 Baker Street], [An Apple a Day], [Trickle Toffee World], and [Lovers from the Sky], that were released as a combination CD series by RPM Records in the UK, which included unreleased/rare recordings by artists under contract with the music publishing division of Apple, which was established by the Beatles.
③ is a bootleg record released in 1991 by ADAM V111, a West German label that specializes in Beatles bootlegs, and is a collection of recordings of THE IVEYS & BADFINGER's British BBC broadcasts. It includes covers of the Beatles' "Revolution" and "Drive My Car," and the Hollies' "JUST ONE LOOK," and is definitely worth a listen. The voices of young Tom Evans and Pete Ham sound like a different group from the heavy vocals of his later band Badfinger (the number of rotations?).
I am listing these for sale as part of inventory management, but unfortunately I will not be selling them separately. Please purchase as a set of three. They have been carefully stored and the records are in good condition, but they have been in storage for a long time, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive about such things. No claims or returns will be accepted. I will do my best to ship as quickly as possible.
